Rotarians play golf for a cause

MANILA, Philippines - More than 150 Rotarians and their guests will compete in a round of golf Feb. 20 to raise funds for the underprivileged members of the adoptive communities of the Rotary Club of Rizal Mid-East, Antipolo and Taytay Tres Eskalon.

RC Rizal Mid-East is headed by Jun Sarreal.

The golf-for-a cause is held in coordination with the Rotary Club District Golf Federation under Joey Sy and Dong Callao, tournament chairman.

Sen. Bong Revilla has been invited to the ceremonial tee off at 8 a.m. together with Gov. Junjun Ynares, who is donating all the trophies and medals to the winners.

Grand prizes will be raffled off, including a package for a three-day, two-night stay at the “Pearl of the Orient” in Boracay.
