Juvic moves up in KL golf

-

MANILA, Philippines - Juvic Pagunsan desperately carried the fight for the Philippines when he fired a two-under-par 70 and moved from 30th to 23rd place with one round left in the Malaysian Open at the Saujana Golf and Country Club in Kuala Lumpur.

Pagunsan, who finished third in Thailand last week, had four birdies, including one on the 18th, against two bogeys for a 210 total, eight strokes off solo leader Adam Blyth of Australia.

Angelo Que had a 69 but was in a share of 37th place at 212 while Frankie Miñoza settled for a 72 and a tie for 48th at 214. Mars Pucay, at 13th at the start of the day, tumbled with a 77 and is now at 59th place at 216.
