Mayor San Pedro Unity Walk slated
All is set for the staging of the first Mayor Aldrin San Pedro Muntinlupa Unity Walk “Nagkakaisa... May Disiplina” on Feb. 21, starting at 6 a.m. on a route starting and ending at the Alabang-Zapote Road, according to event organizer Susan Papa.
The Muntinlupa Community Affairs Office, under Rolando Espina, and AMA Computer College-Las Piñas, through directress Fely Rodriguez, are the latest to throw support to the walk-for-a-cause to be held as part of the city’s anniversary celebrations in March.
Government offices and private corporations are backing the event organized by Papa, a former national swimmer, with the aim of raising funds for Muntinlupa’s sports development program.
AMA Computer is fielding hundreds in the Unity Walk passing through Daang Hari, Commerce Ave., Filinvest then going back to Alabang Zapote Road.
Registration is still ongoing at the Muntinlupa City Hall lobby or at 09232806405 (look for Theresa).
