Guevara golf up at Wack Wack
Over P4 million in prizes, including two brand-new cars, will be at stake in the ninth Domingo Guevara Sr. golf tournament which gets going on Friday at Wack Wack.
Some 280 players are expected to see action in the tournament which offers a brand-new Dodge SUV and a Toyota Vios sedan for hole-in-one feats in any of the two designated holes.
Cash prizes totaling P150,000 will also be up for grabs for aces in two other holes, according to tournament director Benjamin Guevara.
The annual tournament, backed by hole-in-one sponsors Cats Motors and Toyota Motors Phils., marks the centennial birth anniversary of the late industrialist whose birthday was Jan. 2.
Tournament prizes donors are Guevent Industrial Development Corp., Konig Wheels, Cats Motors, G&S Transport, Honeycomb Builders, Marie France, Svensons, Facial Care, Golf Guide Phils., Toyota Motors Phils., The Plaza, Radiowealth Finance Corp., UCPB Insurance Broker Co., Guevent Insurance Broker Co., Rockport/Reebok Shoes, Dusit Hotel, Holland Blooms, Peninsula Hotel Manila, Central Printing Services, Shangri-la Hotel Manila, Ben Abalos and Alex Prieto.
