KidzHoops opens sixth season February 8

Organizers of the KidzHoops first conference will hold a leveling day Jan. 18 next year at the Dumlao Gym on Shaw Blvd., Mandaluyong City.

Registration for the conference, open to all basketball loving boys and girls aged eight to 14 years old, is set at 1 p.m. before the leveling games. The tournament is set every Sunday starting on Feb. 8.

Fee per kid is pegged at P1,500 with participants assured of at least four league games and one tournament match that would be officiated by certified referees.

Included in the package are playing jerseys plus medals. Individual awards are staked for those who top performers.

The tournament was developed as a recreational program with hopes of providing an ideal environment for aspiring athletes and cage enthusiasts alike.

It is also aimed at promoting respect, appreciation and responsibility for one another plus understanding of the true value of sports and importance of physical fitness.
