Yulo Memorial to attract banner field at Cangolf
The 31st Jose Yulo memorial golf tournament will be played Jan. 24-25 with another banner field expected to vie for top honors in various divisions at the north and south courses of the Canlubang golf complex.
The 36-hole member-guest team tournament will use the PAL (Stableford) scoring format with the combined scores of the players to count for the team.
Registration is ongoing with fees pegged at P3,000 for spouse member/dependent and P6,000 for guest of member, inclusive of green fee for two days and two practice rounds among others.
Deadline for listup is on Jan. 16.
The awards rites will be held at 3 p.m. on Jan. 25 with big prizes at stake, including raffle items at the Cangolf clubhouse.

John Kenneth Ocampo and B. Pimentel combined for 159 to capture the overall championship, beating the Marivi Laurel-Lina de Guzman and JR Banson-Derek Santos tandems in last year’s staging of the event held in honor of the late Speaker.
