Giving is receiving

The other day, the winners of our Christmas contest claimed their prizes at The Star office. How wonderful it was for our sponsors, donors and benefactors to share their blessings. The 25 winners were all smiles as they picked up their loot.

The first prize winner Romeo Victoriano had never won in a contest before. He’s 23, the youngest of three. Victoriano works as a janitor at SM Marilao and said he’ll give the P10,000 cash he won to his mother. He couldn’t believe his luck and thanked the Lord for the unexpected harvest.
