Chiefs rip CCM five for 7th straight win

Veteran playmakers Orlando Daroya, Adrian Celada and Ronnel del Rosario scored double-digit outputs yesterday to lead defending champion Arellano University to a 108-85 crushing of City Colleges of Manila in the 16th National Capital Region Athletic Association (NCRAA) men’s basketball tournament at the Arellano University gym.

Their big plays all throughout the game enabled the Chiefs to clinch their seventh straight win.

Daroya had out 24 points, while Celada and Del Rosario provided 17 points apiece for the Chiefs, who moved three games closer to an 10-game elimination round sweep in the tournament backed by Mikasa and Molten balls, and philspike.com.

Earlier, Simon Pagayunan hit 26 points and Cyrus Loja chipped in 13 for the Arellano Baby Chiefs, who outplayed Olivarez, 84-74, for their third straight win in as many games in the junior division.
