Almeda MSCC king of the hill

Joey Almeda went home with the King of the Hill Trophy following his successful campaign in the annual Manila Sports Car Club and the Miata Club’s Subic Hill Climb Race held recently.

Almeda had the fastest time of 39.24 seconds in the Japanese Sports Cars FI category, beating Bubi Camus (40.32) and John Camus (41.16) in this event held in cooperation with the Automotive Aftermarket Division of Robert Bosch Inc.

In the European Cars category, Naji Kasouf won the title with a time of 42.86 seconds, followed by Alan Cayetano (46.15) and Jun Bartolome (47.74).

In the Japanese Cars division, Arby Andaya won the race in 43.65 seconds, beating Pao Agregado (44.17) and Marlon Mercado (55.00).
