Parañaque chess team tilt slated at SM Bicutan
Bureau of Customs, La Salle Dasmariñas-Cavite and Parañaque lead the cast in the second Parañaque chess team tournament slated Dec. 13 at the Activity Center, SM Bicutan, Parañaque.
The tournament, sponsored by Mayor Florencio Bernabe, offers a total cash prize of P20,000 plus trophies with the top four board players receiving P500 each plus medals and the latest issue of Pinoy Chess Magazine.
The event will be a seven-round Swiss system tournament with 25 minutes per player to finish the game. Listup is ongoing with deadline set on Dec. 12. Registration fee is P2,000 per team.
The tournament is organized by Barangay Don Bosco Chess Club (BDBCC), officiated by the National Association of Philippine Chess Arbiters, Inc. (NAPCA) and sanctioned by the National Chess Federation of the Philippine (NCFP).
