Gin Kings repeat over Tigers
Barangay Ginebra repeated over Coca-Cola, 84-77, stretching its run to three games to gain a piece of third place with four other teams in the KFC PBA Philippine Cup at the Olivarez Sports Center in Parañaque last night.
The Kings jumped the gun on the Tigers and held on to the lead to the finish with Ronald Tubid and Sunday Salvacion leading the team with 22 and 21 points, respectively.
Junthy Valenzuela and Rafi Reavis returned from long layoff, playing briefly as the Kings caught up with the Sta. Lucia Realtors, the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters, the Talk n Text Phone Pals and the Air21 Express with identical 6-6 win-loss slates.
The Tigers slid to ninth place with a 5-8 card after suffering another beating at the hands of the Kings. – Nelson Beltran
