Inter-alumni poker on at Pavilion

A Titanium bracelet with health magnets worth P10,000 plus P100,000 non-cashable chips await the champion of the first ever inter-alumni No Limit Texas Hold’em poker tournament today at the Alegria Lounge of the Manila Pavilion Hotel on UN Ave.

Registration starts at 1 p.m., while the first deal is at 2 p.m.

The event is sponsored by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp.

In addition, P50,000 worth of prizes and P200,000 non-cashable chips will be given away to the top 10 finalists for 21-years and above among former students and friends of La Salle, Ateneo and UP.

The tournament, which has a buy-in of P2,000 and P500 and re-buys at P2,000 up to the fourth level plus add-ons, will consist of team and individual competitions.

Friends of any color can play as long as they declare what color they will be playing for. Participants are requested to wear their colors including non-alumni/alumnae who are playing for the color of their choice.

The beneficiaries are the One La Salle Scholarship Fund, Mother of Divine Providence Paris and the UP IE/OR Dept. Professorial Chair.
