NAMSSA stages Roquero Cup finals
The National Motorcycle Safety and Sport Association (NAMSSA) stages the national finals of the Mayor Ed Roquero National Motocross Cup Nov. 22-23 in San Jose, Bulacan.
The championship features the showdown among ace riders Kenneth San Andres, Jovy Saulog, Jolet Jao, Jan Carlo Rellosa and Veli Gin Ramos.
San Andres fortified his bid to become the youngest Rider of the Year in Philippine Motocross history following his big victory in the last leg at the Fast Track Circuit in Taguig City and Round 9 recently in San Jose.
He kept solid grip of solo leadership in the Pro Open division with 428 points, ahead of Saulog (387), Marcelo (256) and Ramos (202).
San Andres is virtual champion in the Pro 125 division with 405 points, 60 points in front of Rellosa. Saulog is third (322) and Marcelo fourth (192).
But with three legs to go, Saulog may yet pull off an upset win with a sweep.

Supporting the event are the San Jose Del Monte City government, Moldex, Daily Harvest Farm, Oakley, Flamboyant Construction, JBS Moto Shop, GCG, Topmaster and Sign Effex. Registration is on Saturday.
San Jose is the future site of LRT 7 terminal, making it the northernmost transport hub approaching Metro Manila. It will also be the next site for city progress as talks are also under way to create a bus terminal hub for all buses plying the north route to Metro Manila.
Lorenzo “Noynoy” Rellosa is seeking another big win to firm up his hold of solo lead in the Junior 85 class up against Rafael Enriquez, Erick Mitra, Jose Rafael Aycardo and Patrick Orbe.
