Golden Oats eyes 3-peat

BAGUIO – Back-to-back champion Golden Oats senior team goes for a rare grandslam in the 59th Fil-Am Golf Invitational which fires off Nov. 22 at the Baguio Country Club and Camp John Hay courses here.

Golden Oats posted a 12-stroke victory in 2006, beating Camp John Hay squad then repeated the feat last year.

“This year, Camp John Hay and the rest of the participants in the Fil Championship Division are expected to beef up their respective rosters in an attempt to stop Golden Oats’ run,” said Fil-Am co-chairmen Anthony de Leon and Tim Allen.
