Aure tops hole-in-one tourney at Intramuros

Joselito Aure shot a net 66 from a gross 73 to capture the overall championship via countback in the Club Intramuros hole-in-one tournament at Club Intramuros recently.

Bobby Villarosa won the low gross title with a 71 while Oca Isidro turned in a 73 for a net 66 to rule Class A via countback over Koji Uetani, who had a 66 from a gross 79.

Roman Floresca scored an 84 for a net 69 then nipped Steve Taylor (82-69) in the countback to cop the Class B crown while Gil Belen fired a 70 from a gross 96 to beat Lito Villanueva (88-71) for the Class C honors.

Rudy Ferraren topped the guest division with a net 64 while Toto Suarnaba took the low gross plum with an 80. George Quan won the Class A title with a 65. Takagi ruled Class B with a 68 while Matt Dajani won the Class C title with a 69.

Tess Bonifacio shot a gross 70 for a net 66 to top the ladies division with Marites Quan settling for runner-up honors with a 68 from a gross 90.
