Zubiri, Esguerra best in ABC monthly bowl

Lito Zubiri of Pacific World Building Management rolled 1241 pinfalls to cop the Group 1 crown while Sonny Esguerra of Pro Active Pest Control came through with 1116 to capture the Group 2 plum in the Architects Bowling Club’s monthly championship at the Green Valley Lanes in Pasig City last week.

Paeng Villanueva of Emerald Vinyl made 1228, Jun Cheng of Hocheng Phils scored 1175 and Denis Jalandon of Firefly Lighting submitted 1158 to finish second, third and fourth, respectively in Group 1, in the event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

Hermie Valeriano of SKIA Phils came up with 1012, Freddie Adivoso of Pansun Pipetech Corp. rolled 1009 and Johnson Villanueva of Crown Pipes had 1007 to place second, third and fourth, respectively, in Group 2.

Meanwhile, action in the event, backed by Philflex Wires and Cables, Ragojos Heritage Constructions, MEDWEST Tech. Insti., DN Steel, Felport Marketing, ABC Phils., Supreme Steel Pipe Corp., Eurolux, and Bradnam’s Windows and Doors, resumes at 7 tonight with the staging of All Events championship also at Green Valley Bowling Lanes in Pasig City.
