San Mig Senior golf series up

The 2008 San Miguel Senior Golf Series reels off Wednesday with the staging of the fifth leg at Canlubang Golf and Country Club in Canlubang, Laguna. Tee-off time is 6:30-8:30 a.m.

Members totaling 150 from 14 chapters are competing for individual and team honors in the 18-hole event hosted by the Canlubang Senior Golfers Association, Federation president Horacio Paredes said yesterday.

“I would like to express our gratitude to San Mig Coffee Sugar Free for sponsoring our series this year,” Paredes said. “I would also like to thank Canlubang Senior Golfers Association headed by its president Atty. Arsenio Yulo Jr. for hosting it.”

Competition will be in individual and team events.
