Milo BEST Minda regional finals slated
Top young hoopsters from Mindanao will take their turn under the spotlight as the 2008 MILO-sponsored BEST Center Small Basketeers of the Philippines (SBP)-Passerelle Mindanao regional finals unfolds this weekend at the Doña Pilar Gymnasium in Davao City.
The aspiring ballers (elementary division) from Xavier University (Cagayan de Oro), Ateneo de Zamboanga and Ateneo de Davao will play for SBP Mindanao regional trophy while the junior cagers (high school division) from Sacred Heart of Jesus Montessori School Cagayan de Oro, Claret School (Zamboanga) and Holy Child School of Davao will clash tor the Passerelle crown.
The champion teams will represent Mindanao at the 23rd MILO-sponsored BEST Center SBP-Passerelle national finals in Iloilo City. They will be pitted against other regional champs from NCR, Luzon and the Visayas.
