Villalon, Castelar post breathtaking wins for AUTS

AUTS Racing firmed up  its tag as one of the country’s top racing teams following its strong finish recently in the penultimate leg of  the 2008 Shell Helix Karting Super Series  at the Carmona Circuit Philippines in Cavite.

Team captain Indy Villalon and Joseph Castelar came up with convincing wins against tough rivals as they powered another big harvest of three wins, three runners-up and a third place for AUTS Racing sponsored by Pepsi-Cola Product Philippines, Inc. – Gatorade, Magnolia Pure Drinking Water, Kiplings, Birel Racing Karts, Yamaha Winforce, Kart Care Lubricants, Freeline, GoKartGlobal.com, AUTS International, Hoddies Jackets and Eats Amore.

Villalon unveiled nerves of steel and strategy as he steered AUTS Racing to a 1-2 finish in the Formula SL Expert class together with teammate and former Asian Karting champion Marlon Stockinger.

Their tandem proved effective in turning back comebacking Oliver Aquino of Alessandra Racing who engaged them in an intense dicing and at one point even wrested the lead.
