Patron ticket for P25,000; 500 bleachers on sale

-

A ticket for P25,000?

Yes, believe it or not, that’s how much or how high a ticket to tomorrow’s big event, Game One of the Ateneo-La Salle UAAP finals, is being peddled at eBay.

So far, there’s been only one bidder.

“Super RARE!!!,” was how the seller, only identified as Metropolitan0926, described the very hot commodity, a patron ticket which has a face value of only P350 at the gates.

Upper Box A tickets were up for sale at eBay earlier this week at P6,000 each or P10,000 a pair. It has a face value of P250.

The problem is that tickets to the game were sold out just hours after being made available through TicketNet. Now, they’re very hard to find indeed, except for those willing to cough it up.

The seller said he/she has two patron tickets available, but the starting bid price was only good for one.

“Double the price for two tickets,” said the post.

Meanwhile, the Araneta Coliseum has set aside 500 General Admission tickets to be sold on first-come, first-served basis tomorrow for Game One of the Ateneo-La Salle duel for the UAAP championship.

“Gates will open at 12 noon at the Ticketnet office located at the yellow gate of the Araneta Coliseum,” said Manny Atacador, head of operations of the Araneta Coliseum.

For ticket inquiries, contact TicketNet at 911-5555 or log on to www.ticketnet.com.ph.

The Big Dome management also said it will beef up its security in anticipation of another record crowd for the Ateneo-La Salle clash.

“We will reinforce our security to ensure everyone’s safety,” said Atacador. “We are very excited to host another jampacked game at the Big Dome tomorrow.”
