Fitness First riders triumph in Thai tour

The Fitness First Cycling Team ruled the recently concluded Tour of Egat stage race in Thailand with skipper Eric Carandang topping the 30-39 year old age group category while Jon Urrutia came in second overall in the Masters 40-49 year old category.

The team was also supported by Fitness First member, Joel Gironella and various other cyclists from different local teams.

The Tour of Egat is a four-day 560-kilometer stage race which started and ended in Bangkok and participated in by working class amateur cyclists from all over the region as well as from Europe.

Next event up for the Fitness First team is the XRC Tour of Tagaytay slated on May 24 and 25.

The team is also sponsored by Rudy Project, Phiten, Fitrum, Victoria Court, Action & Fitness Magazine, Seven Cycles and SRAM.
