RP’s top guns to grace arms show
Some of the country’s top shooters, led by world practical shooting champion Mary Grace Tan, will grace the opening ceremonies of the Defense & Sporting Arms Show (DSAS) Part II Thursday at the SM Megatrade Hall 1, SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City.
Tan, member of the True Weight shooting team, will join Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Director General Avelino Razon Jr., who expressed full support to the event held under the auspices of the Association of Firearms and Ammunition Dealers (AFAD).
Razon cited the AFAD and other local gun clubs for their role in helping police authorities disseminate information on the Commission on Election (Comelec) gun ban that resulted to a considerable decrease in the number of violators during the recent Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections.
