Jinkee keeps cards close to her chest

-
SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Her lips are almost sealed this time.

Manny Pacquiao’s wife Jinkee opted not to make any conclusive forecast Friday after witnessing the official weigh-in for the star-studded Blaze for Glory card at the Alamodome.

Of those who issued forecasts in Pacquiao’s previous fights, it was only Jinkee who called it right when she said Manny would knock out Erik Morales in the 10th round of their January 2005 fight.

This time, she tried to play it safe.

"Ayoko magsabi kung anong
round (I don’t want to say which round)," said Jinkee, who stayed beside Manny before and after the 28-year-old boxer tipped the scales at a comfortable 128 3/4 pounds.

"Natatakot ako magsabi (I’m afraid to talk)," she added.

Of course, she was not afraid that Manny would lose his fight against undefeated Mexican Jorge Solis, but simply because she didn’t want to go wrong and spoil her good record.

"Siyempre mananalo si Manny. Hindi ko lang alam kung anong round (Of course Manny will win. I just don’t know what round)," added Jinkee who has three wonderful kids with the famous boxer. – Abac Cordero
