Philippine Basketball League and CL-Pera Padala officials are expected to meet today to discuss the protest of the Moneymen concerning their loss to the Harbour Centre Port Masters Saturday.
CL-Pera Padala manager Danny Francisco said they filed the protest right after their 83-86 overtime loss to Harbour Centre Saturday in Sucat, Parañaque contesting that game officials erred twice that affected the outcome of the game.
"Yes, we filed it right after the game itself," Francisco, a vital cog in Ateneo de Manilas 1987-1988 UAAP title romps, yesterday told The STAR.
"Its not about winning or the result of the game, its about making the right calls in the spirit of fair play," he added.
Francisco cited the first mistake came right after jump ball when referees allowed a basket by Harbours Chad Alonzo right at CL-Pera Padalas designated court.
