Kings out to skin Tigers

Barangay Ginebra and Talk n Text seek to stay close with the leaders as they battle teams aching to get out of the rut in the Talk n Text PBA Philippine Cup at the Astrodome today.

The Kings slug it out with the Coca-Cola Tigers at 4:35 p.m. then the Phone Pals mix it up with the Alaska Milk Aces at 7:20 p.m.

The Kings and the Pals are determined to reassert their mastery of their respective rivals to stay within striking distance of the frontrunning Sta. Lucia Realtors heading to the closing stage of the double-round classification phase.

"We have to pile up as many wins as possible to secure a slot in the upper bracket. We can’t afford any more losses," said Ginebra coach Jong Uichico.
