The Rotary Golfing Fellowship Foundation of the Philippines (RGFFP) will hold its Asian leg again in China.

The exact location is Shenzen, home of Mission Hills, Shanghai Country Club and other world class, state of the art golf courses.

Rotarian golfers and guests will compete in the standard RGFFP conditions of play, using club handicaps and "PAL points system."

According to RGFFP president Poch Borromeo and directors Nonoy Braga and Albert Que who recently returned from China, the venues for the tourney are Mission Hills’ Olazabal and Vijay Singh courses.

Defending champions in the individual category are Zixiong Wu of team Quanzhou, Class A with 58 points; Salem Vercide of RC General Santos, Class B, 53 points; and Mar Dos Pueblos, RC General Santos, Class C, 54 points. Team Quanzhou won the team title.

Last year’s event was participated in by members and guests of RC Bagumbayan, RC Baguio, RC General Santos, RC Makati Ayala, RC Makati North, RC Makati Southwest and RC Makati West.

"Food, shopping and sightseeing have vastly improved, compared to our last RGFFP tournament there three years ago," saidBorromeo. "Rotarians with guests or young family members can even take the tour to Disneyland or Kowloon at daytime and be back at night."

PAL will fly the group to Hong Kong Nov. 8 and return to Manila Nov. 12.
