One hundred thirty players are seeing action in the event with pressure on the match play qualifiers who will vie for the Golfer of the Year title. Fifteen players each for five divisions will eliminate each other in the four-series match play to end in playoff in December.
For the monthly tournament, play will be under the stroke play format.
Last month’s stableford format winners in Tagaytay Midlands included Edgar Lee who topped Group I followed by Gene Go and Jun Fojas. Group II winners were Randy Banzon, Cesar Lim and Nepthy Del Rosario while James Rosca, Romeo David and Chris Ong dominated Group III. Richard Tan reigned in Group IV followed by Egay Pasion and Efren Gonzales while Rafael Villanueva won Group V over Joy Arcenas and Neil Magkilat.
Also on tap is the third quarterly awarding of the AGC.
