The NCAA Management Committee yesterday decided to reset todays 4 p.m. duel of the Knights and the Lions at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium to Friday, same time and venue, due to heavy rains spawned by typhoon Glenda that flooded parts of the city the past few days.
"We received an advisory that bad weather condition will continue until tomorrow," said Mancom chair Bernie Atienza of St. Benilde.
Other games moved on Friday are the seniors match pitting the Mapua Cardinals and the Jose Rizal Bombers and the juniors game between the San Beda Red Cubs and the Letran Squires.
The Knights, the reigning champions, currently lead the way with a 6-0 (win-loss) slate with the Samuel Ekwe-led Lions lurking behind with a 5-1 card.
The Knights have won two of the last three titles and are raring to add another one while the Lions are raring to end a 28-year-old title drought.
