The Elasto Painters are currently in third place behind Montana (9-3) and Toyota (9-4) with a 7-5 (win-loss) slate with a victory in their 4 p.m. encounter with the Snackmasters, just a shade behind them at 7-6, keeping them in the race for one of the coveted spots in the semis.
The Snackmasters went through the proverbial eye of the needle before escaping past the Elasto Painters, 62-61, in their first round encounter. Kevin dela Pena scored on a drive as time expired to lift Granny Goose to the thrilling victory.
A Rain or Shine victory would keep the Elasto Painters’ bid for one of two outright semis berths alive. But a loss would give Montana and Toyota the two automatic semis slots.
