Hoff arrived yesterday morning and suited up with the Kings in a tune-up game with the Alaska Aces at the Sports Camp inside The Fort later in the day.
Ginebra reportedly settled with Hoff after failing to reacquire old import Torraye Braggs and NBA veteran Cedric Henderson.
But Hoff, a well-traveled African player, could well turn out to be a good acquisition.
Hoff, 33, was Artemus McClarys teammate with the Samsung Thunders in the Korean Basketball League.
An internet review of Mustapha said the player "is very strong and versatile. He can step outside and hit the short jumper, score inside, and take the ball to the basket off the dribble."
He played for Oregon State from 1992-1995 averaging 18.6 points and 7.5 rebounds in his final year with the team. He was invited to join the Portland Trailblazers camp after his NCAA stint. Nelson Beltran
