Hawks go for 78th win vs Flyers

Defending champion University of Manila tries to extend its amazing five- year winning streak to 78 games and fifth this year when it takes on debuting Holy Angel University in the resumption of the 2005 NAASCU mens basketball tournament at the UM gym.
Gametime is 2:30 p.m. with the Hawks heavily favored to beat the Flyers, who are making t heir initial showing in the nine-team, double-round tournament.
"Well go for it (78th win). I dont know how long we can sustain this streak, but well give it our best," said UM coach Loreto Tolentino, who made history last year when he steered both the Hawks and the Philippine Christian University to the titles in the NAASCU and NCAA, respectively.
