More Fil-Am cagers suit up in Unity Cup

Two more Filipino-Americans will see action when the 2005 PBL Unity Cup unfolds on April 2.
Magnolia Ice Cream-Far Eastern U is reportedly acquiring former University of Hawaii Warrior Ramsey Williams while Granny Goose Tortillos has tapped ex-Lassen College standout Martin Trovela in a pair of acquisitions expected to add excitement to the season-opening conference.
Williams, who played for the Warriors in the 2002 and 2003 NCAA seasons, however, has yet to get the nod of Magnolia coach Koy Banal, who is reportedly torn between the Fil-Am and former FEU back-up guard Jed Cutler.
Granny Goose team manager Pat Aquino said Trovela, a 5-foot-7 resident of Reno, Nevada who saw action for Lassen College, is expected to strengthen its guard rotation .
