Madrigal, 9, will also compete in prestigious karting races in Asia.

"This will be my first time to compete abroad. I am excited and nervous but Ive been practicing a lot so I can make the country proud," she said.
After ruling all the five races she joined in the Cadet 60 class, Alessandra is setting her eyes on the Cadet 85 crown this year.

Her parents Gerard and Terri Madrigal said her participation is made possible by her sponsors, personal coach Allan Uy, her mechanics, and everyone at Carmona Circuit Philippines who have been instrumental in developing her racing skills.
