Sexiest pulls off gorgeous win in stakes race

Sexiest pulled off a beauty of a win yesterday befitting her name, coming out of nowhere and beating top favorite Time Gentleman to rule the third leg of the Philracom Imported Stakes at the Sta. Ana Park.
Only the third choice in a seven-horse field, which included a pair of coupled entries, Sexiest came rushing from behind the pack with a blistering run at the far turn, momentarily engaging Time Gentleman in a neck-and-neck battle before galloping home unopposed to claim the guaranteed P270,000 purse for the Javier stable.
With the able handling of jockey Manolito Daquis, Sexiest turned in a clocking of 1:33.4 over the 1,500-meter race, thus joining previous leg winners Key Apo (first leg) and Neat Laurel (second leg) in the All-Import Championship Race on Nov. 21. She had quartertimes of 17-24-25-28.
Time Gentleman settled for second worth P101,250 while American Dame, a coupled entry of Glamour, finished third and took home P56,250.
