Boxing Kontra Droga tonight at Elorde’s

"Boxing Kontra Droga" Part IV returns today, starting at 6 p.m., at the Flash Grandballroom of the Elorde Sports Center in Sucat Road, Parañaque City.

Presented by the Inner Wheel Club of Parañaque Sucat headed by Liza Elorde and Rotary Club of Parañaque Sucat headed by Armand Jardeleza, in cooperation with Johnny Elorde Management International, this 46-round of boxing is in support of the government’s campaign against illegal drugs.

Elorde stressed that they will continue promoting fights to encourage the youth to get involved in sports.

"This is our own little way of helping President Arroyo in her call for a drug free Philippines," Elorde added.

Former world rated and veteran Jerry Pahayahay will see action against Luzproba No. 6 light flyweight Albert Cesa in the main event, which is expected to draw a huge crowd. Supporting the bout is the fight of Luzproba No. 5 light flyweight Wendel Cajoles against Luzproba No. 4 Larry Mede.
