With a multi-million prize package that includes a duplex home, a P1-million cash bonanza, a brand-new car and a Rolex watch, the 18th edition of the Rotary Golfing Fellowship Foundation of the Philippines northern leg tournament will kick off a brand-new year for organized golf on Jan. 15-17 at the Baguio Country Club and Camp John Hay courses in Baguio.
The St. Monique Duplex House being put up by Globe Asiatic Realty as a hole-in-one prize in six holes, the P1-million cash pot is on offer in four holes and the Toyota Altis also on four holes, giving participants numerous chances to hit the jackpot.
To make things more exciting, organizers are staking the Rolex watch together with a Taylor Made golf set and a big TV in three holes with three pins. If not won, the entire package will be raffled off.
"From previous experiences, weve had big hole-in-one winners in our Baguio venues. Weve decided to raise the stakes and even give our participants more chances by putting three holes in one green," said RGFFP tournament director Albert Que.
Tournament winners in the event sponsored by Cebu Pacific, Copacabana Hotel, Pilipinas Shell, Futura Window Covering, Taylor Made and Fedex are also bound to receive handsome prizes.
Registration is now on-going with an early bird tournament fee of P4,500 already inclusive of green fees, giveways, raffle and the awards dinner.
Interested parties may call the RGFFP office at 7218896 or 7210564 and inquire through Ms. Roselyn Lapore, Michele Arque and Annie Mejorada.
Registrants after the Jan. 7 deadline will be charged P1,000 more. Non Metro Manila entries, meanwhile, are being offered a package worth P12,500 already inclusive of hotels in Baguio and Manila.
