Aboitiz One, a name that has become synonymous with leadership in the Philippine transport industry, will serve as the official delivery arm of all logistical requirements of the PFF, using its various resources and nationwide reach to help promote and develop the sport and give it a mainstream appeal.
The PFF is the governing body of the sport in the country.
"It is a reaffirmation of Aboitiz Ones support for the PFF in the promotion of the sport and education across the country," said Aboitiz One chief operating officer Efren Uy during the contract-signing at the Aboitiz One Hangar office in Pasay City.
He added that the pact is a firm commitment between two groups whose aim is to create changes for growth and development of the countrys future.
Others who attended the contract-signing were Aboitiz One AVP for sales Pia Mantecon and PFF president Rene Adad and deputy secretary general Domeka Garamendi as well as other key leaders of the two institutions.
From Regions I to 13, Aboitiz One will be in charge of transporting and delivering items such as equipment, trophies, uniforms, materials and collaterals needed for the various tournaments and events the PFF organizes.
The landmark partnership is a first between Aboitiz One and a national sports association (NSA). Other backers are regular PFF supporters Coke, Adidas, Pagcor, Red Ribbon and Unicef.
