Miriam cagebelles advance to semis

Miriam College ripped its rivals last weekend to make it to the semifinals of two divisions in the Milo BEST Womens Basketball League (WBL) at the St. Benedict College courts in Alabang Hills.
Miriam crushed University of the East, 44-16, last Saturday for a sweep of its seven college assignments after its high school counterparts had thumped Assumption College, 42-35, and Colegio de Sta. Rosa, 69-31, for an unblemished 8-0 card in the competitive group.
St. Theresas College also won twice 51-10 over Montessori Integrated School and 42-21 over Philippine Science High-to gain the high school (developmental) semifinals together with New Era University, School of Holy Spirit-QC and St. Marys Academy of Caloocan.
Semifinal action on Nov. 30 pits Miriam against Ateneo and UST against Assumption College at 11:30 a.m.
