Theresian invitational golf up today at WW

The Globe Telecom first Theresian Invitational Golf Cup takes center stage at the Wack-Wack Golf and Country Club West course today.

The event is the first major activity of the St. Theresa’s College-Manila High School Class of 1979, which will be celebrating its silver anniversary early next year. Part of the proceeds of the tournament will be for the benefit of the Foundation For Children’s Educational Integration (TEACHER MOM). The beneficiary is an educational institution for the mentally challenged located in Makati City.

Gil Genio, chief operating officer of Globe Telecom, the premier sponsor , will do the ceremonial tee-off together with representatives of other major sponsors namely PCSO, San Miguel Corporation, K-Link and Citibank. Hole sponsors include Gourmet Farms, All Asian Countertrade, ED&F Man Phil., Inc., Prodyn Business Consultants Inc., Equitable-PCIBank, Bank of Commerce, Master Card International, Molecules, Leasemaster and Pacific Internet.

A golf share in the picturesque Buena Vista Nature Park and Country Club at Tagaytay City will be up for grabs as a hole-in-one prize. Other donors to the event are Ramon Roco Insurance Agency Inc., Philippine Tourism Authority, Rainforest and Silver jubilarians Lynette Ferrer and Florian Tria.

Nice give-aways, raffle prizes and lunch are included in the golf package.
