Milo Checkmate clinic on tomorrow

Acceptance of enrollees for the fifth series of the Milo Checkmate Saturday-only clinic begins tomorrow at the following venues: Rizal Memorial Sports Complex (RMSC) in Vito Cruz, Manila and J & F Divino Bldg. at No. 967 Aurora Blvd. near Anonas St. in Quezon City.

Fun games like blitz and problem-solving contests are among the activities prepared for the early enrollees by the organizing Metropolitan Chess Club and Checkmate Phils. Medals and chess materials like USA Inside Chess magazines will be given away to the winners.

Clinic at RMSC will start from 8 a.m.-12 noon at the Badminton Bldg. while at J & F–two sessions are available: 9 a.m-1 p.m. and 2-6 p.m.

Only preparatory and beginner courses are available at RMSC while courses including Intermediate and Advance are available at J & F. Open to kids who are 5-18 years old, enrollees are advised to proceed at the venue site of their choice. For other details, call 826-8560 and 0916-852-1069.
