Lunas in title tiff vs Thai tonight

Rolly Lunas stakes his PABA flyweight crown against Thai champion Deeden Kengkaroon while Cebu’s Johnny Lear defends his RP bantamweight title against Alvin Felisilda of Bukidnon in a pair of explosive matches highlighting the "Bakbakan sa Mandaluyong" boxing card tonight at the Mandaluyong gym.

The free-to-the-public PABA title fight, which starts at 6 p.m. and promoted by Jun Sarreal, is expected to draw an overflow crowd with the fans out to cheer their local hero in Lunas. The main event, as well as that of the Lear-Felisilda bout, is set for 12 rounds.

Five other supporting bouts are on tap in the event to be telecast on Channel 13 starting at 11 p.m.
