The four-day Triple-V 46th national fishing championship of the Philippine Game Fishing Foundation (PGFF) reels off May 12 at the Don Andres Soriano Jr. Sportfishing Camp at San Vicente in Sta. Ana, Cagayan, supported by Triple-V Group president Vic-Vic V. Villavicencio.
Among the anglers competing in this fifth leg of the Angler of the Year (AOY) series are last years 45th champion Henry Ordinanza,Tony Tycangco, Jess Bartolome Sr., Jess Bartolome Jr., Bobby Garcia, Conrad Cuesta, Atty. Elvin Reyes, Bengy Toda, Nonie Capili, Bong Nery Jr., Rico Gueco, 2002 AOY Mayenn Ordoveza, Edmund Lim, Gil Palumbarit, Ignacio Locsin, Noel Abello, Rami Villavicencio, Pancho Pasicolan, Edwin Fernandez, Mario Tayag, Fr.
