Magdal paces national duckpin; Magbual up

-
NSBA’s Boying Magdal and the pair of Inez Magbual (D’Friendly) and Vey Manalo (MDBC) grabbed the early lead in the A/B singles event of the Grand National and Youth duckpin bolwing championships recently at the Marketplace lanes.

Magdal rolled a two-game series of 452 pins to pace Winnie Sotton (411), Louie Tandingan (397), Val Almazan (397), Bert Sales (397), Ding de Guzman (396) and Caloy Inocencio (394) in the men’s division.

Magbual, incumbent president of organizer PHIDBC (Philippine Duckpin Bowling Council), and Manalo carded identical 385s to move ahead of Sonia Quitalig (382), Lorenz Hilaus (381), Geena Gregorio (370), Ruby Villamil (358), Maa Aregla (355) and Baby Inocencio (355) in the ladies’ group.

Customs commissioner Antonio Bernardo, Diamond Purified Drinking Water and the Philippine Olympic Committee are supporting the kegfest, which has lured participants from all over the country.
