Sagip golf slated at Riviera

The Sagip Buhay Medical Foundation, Inc. of the UP-Philippine General Hospital Department of Medicine will hold its fifth edition of the Sagip Buhay Golf Classic at its home course, The Riviera Golf and Country Club in Cavite Wednesday. Tee-off starts at 6:30 a.m., using the two-man team scramble. Approximately 200 golfers playing for a cause are expected.

The event, held annually for the past four years, aims to raise funds to help serve the health needs of the poor of society. It is supported by Astra Zeneca Philippines, Aventis, Boehringer Ingelheim, Cocolife, Mr. and Mrs. Carlos Ejercito, Glaxo Wellcome, Globe Telecom, Integrated Waste Management Systems, Inc., Lapanday Holdings Corporation, PAGCOR, Palafox Associates, Pfizer Philippines, Inc. and Taylor Made Adidas, among others.

Dinner-awards night will be on May 3, 7:30 p.m. at the Casino Filipino in Parañaque.
