Palaro security beefed up

Tubod, Lanao del Norte — About 800 policemen will be deployed as additional security during the staging of the Palarong Pambansa annual sports event here on May 4-11.

Sr. Supt. Laut Sarip, Philippine National Police Office (PNPO) provincial director, said that the policemen will come from the different component cities and provinces in Region 10. This is apart from the regular number of policemen in this province and troopers from the Philippine Army’s 41st Infantry Brigade.<
