Dazz eyes 2nd spot vs Welcoat

The big gunsWelcoat Paints and Dazz Dishwashing Liquidclash today in what could be a sneak preview of the PBL Challenge Cup finals at the newly-constructed Quezon Province Convention Center in Lucena City.
John Ferriols, MVP of the defunct MBAs inaugural season, is expected to lead the Grease Busters anew in their bid to clinch the No. 2 spot and a twice-to-beat advantage in the semifinals.
The Welcoat-Dazz clash starts at 4 p.m. in an out-of-town sortie jointly-organized by the PBL and Quezon Gov. Willie Enverga through sports coordinators Romy Cardenas and Eddie Barcelona and councilor Tomas Ilao.
In the other game, ICTSI squares off with Sunkist-Pampanga in the non-bearing match at 2.
ICTSI secured the Group B top spot after John-O overpowered Montana Pawnshop, 78-63, Thursday night thus earning the right to playoff the twice-to-beat LBC-Batangas for the wild card entry or the last semifinal berth.
