Unichema cops overall honors in Petron Rally

Team Unichema-SM Bonus-Bluemoon, skippered by ace driver Dindo de Jesus, captured the team overall award in the 2002 Petron Blaze Rally Series which culminated recently in Subic.

"Overall, I would say team effort allowed us to capture the overall trophy. I also wish to thank our drivers and navigators for their overpowering drive to maintain our place in the team overall standings," De Jesus said.

Aside from the team overall honors, team Unichema-SM Bonus-Bluemoon also snared two other major awards with De Jesus capturing individual second runner-up overall honors and teammate Ramon Santiago romping off with the Clubman trophy.

Supported by Splitfire, Bendix and Delkor Battery, the Unichema-SM Bonus-Bluemoon team includes navigator Ricky Santiago, Danny Santiago and daughter Melissa, Ramon Santiago and Bing Ibaviosa and Obet Sabala.
