Cavite international derby deadline bared

All participants in the forthcoming seven-cock International Derby at the Cavite Coliseum scheduled for Dec. 2, 4 and 6 are being reminded that the submission of weights will be one day before the announced fight date.
For the Dec. 2 two-cock opener, weights must be submitted tomorrow from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m; for the Dec. 4 two-cock semifinals, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. the deadline is Tuesday and for the Dec. 6 three-cock finals from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. weight submission is on Thursday.
Participants are given the option to field four cocks either on Monday or Wednesday then followed up by the three cocks for qualifiers to the Friday finals.
Fight time shall start at 7 p.m. sharp on each day with P5,000 penalty for delayed fights. An additional penalty of P5,000 will be imposed for every five fights that the delay continues.
Casador (the one in charge of squaring bets) is the popular Abo Centeno while the Sentenciador (referee) is the respected Berong Javellana.
The gala affair now on its 12th year is hosted by Sen. Ramon Revilla and co-hosted by long-time friends Rudy Salud, Nestor Mercado and Lito Orillaza.
Sponsored by Pagcor, the derbys beneficiary is the Philippine Mental Health.
