Marave eyes third Karter of Year plum

Defending champion Pepon Marave hopes to rewrite history as he eyes the most crucial win tomorrow in the championship round of the 2002 Shell Karting Super Series at the Carmona Circuit Philippines.
Marave, currently with 362 points, is aiming to become the first driver to win a third Karter of the Year plum in this event sponsored by Pilipinas Shell, WG&A Super Ferry, Bridgestone, Nokia, Zip-Zip, ZED and Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office through chairman Livia "Honeygirl" de Leon and general manager Angelo Ver.
He will try to pull the most important win against closest rival Allan Uy of MOFO whos just close behind with 327 points after ruling the Formula A class in the last leg of this series sanctioned by the Automobile Association of the Philippines (AAP).
