Pinoy Toppings-QC Autosports ace driver Mike Anton caps his stirring return into circuit racing this year when he runs his final race as a class B driver in the season-ending rounds of the 2002 SVI Blaze Super Saloon Championships slated at the Subic International Raceway on Nov. 23-24.
Anton who went on a three-year hiatus from racing came back with a bang as he dominated the Class B competitions to clinch the class title as early as the 10th round of the 14-leg series. He likewise made waves by out-driving a number of Class A drivers in the combined Super Saloon races.
To address the need to be competitive, the fast-food chain operator called on his good friend, the celebrated race engine tuner Dominic Cuesta of QC Autosports to prepare his Honda Civic for the daunting task. Cuesta lost no time to fine tune the Honda hatchbacks EK4 engine into a monster.
Antons prolific comeback was made possible through the support provided by Pinoy Toppings, QC Autosports, KTC Tools, A-Toy Fiberglass Works and Demvels Enterprises.
